Donna has a broad-based medical background that includes neurology, respiratory care, internal medicine, and gastroenterology. Donna has been as a Physician Associate for over 10 years and received her training at Yale University. Commenting on the work she loves, Donna said, "I love making a difference in my patients' lives. When they're ill or have health concerns, patients need to trust their health provider. I take this responsibility seriously and enjoy making a difference when they truly need it." Donna is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants in Otolaryngology, the American Academy of Physician Assistants in Allergy, Asthma and Immunology and is accredited by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.
Rhoda decided at a young age to become an Audiologist when her grandfather, who lived with her family, suffered a stroke and lost his speech. She has been a practicing Audiologist for the past 45 years. She achieved her Masters degree in audiology and speech pathology from Syracuse University after receiving her BA in audiology and speech pathology from University of Virginia. Rhoda enjoys working with adults and children, and has fitted hearing aids in those as young as 4 months. Loving her work, Rhoda commented, "It is very rewarding to be able to help someone. Every day I go home and feel like I've done something worthwhile in this world."
Dr. Reap, a Board Certified Audiologist, recently returned to Parker ENT of Fairfield County. Dr. Reap in 2008 received her Doctoral Degree from Arizona State University (Summa Cum Laude) and Board Certification in Audiology from the American Academy of Audiology. She obtained her Master's degree in Audiology from the University of VA along with a Master's Degree in special education. Her many long-term patients were delighted to have her return to the Norwalk practice. "Dr. Annie" became an Audiologist because she wanted to pursue a career in a medical field where she could improve people's quality of life. Dr. Annie noted, "I have a passion for helping patient's reach their potential. It brings me great joy to improve someones ability to hear the voices of loved ones and the sounds of daily life that we all take for granted. I'm so proud to work in our office for I believe what sets Parker ENT apart from other practices is our compassionate care for each and every patient."
Dr. Michaelides is the most recent member of Parker ENT of Fairfield County, having joined in 2010 when the balance and vestibular lab opened. A board certified Audiologist, she received her Doctorate in audiology from Pennsylvania College of Optometry and her Masters degree in audiology from Western Michigan University. As a clinical audiologist with over eight years of experience managing audiology practices for otolaryngologists, she has extensive experience performing diagnostic testing including audiological and balance assessment, hearing aid evaluations, and dispensing of digital hearing aids, while specializing in geriatrics. "I love working with the elderly. They have so much to give and so much to say. My profession provides me with real joy -- I love helping people live better." Dr. Michaelides is a fellow of both the American Academy of Audiology and a member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
Jane has been affiliated with the office since 1980 and has been the office manager for over fifteen years. She loves working at Parker ENT because "there's a family atmosphere among the staff and patients". An avid reader and beach-goer, Jane is a life-long Norwalk resident who enjoys spending time with her family.
